TRAILBLAZER SERIES

In 2017, Major League Baseball and USA Baseball launched the inaugural Trailblazer Series for female baseball players, built around Jackie Robinson Day. The 2023 Trailblazer Series will take place from April 13-16, 2023 and will feature competitive play, world-class instruction, and unique educational opportunities. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from current and former members of the USA Baseball Women's National Team and others in the baseball industry.

When: April 13-16, 2023

Where: Jackie Robinson Training Complex (Vero Beach, FL)

Eligibility: Female baseball players 11-13 years old (applicants must be at least 11 years old by April 13, 2023 and not older than 13 before April 17, 2023)

*Trailblazer participants' lodging, meals, and air travel (if applicable) to/from Vero Beach will be covered.

The application is due by 11:59pm ET on Sunday, January 15, 2023. EXTENDED - APPLICATIONS STILL OPEN THROUGH 1/22 Late applications will not be considered. While we wish all applicants could attend, the Trailblazer Series is a limited-capacity event, and there will be some deserving applicants who are not selected for participation.  In reviewing applications, the selection committee considers several relevant factors related to event logistics, including, but not limited to, the following: age divisions, position coverage, geographical mix, and previous event participation.
